Speakers will be Pam Giemer Boyce and Robert Boyce. Pam is the In-House Garden Center Landscape Designer at Breezy Hill Nursery, WI. She has many years of experience and is all about pollinators and beauty. Her husband, Robert is a beekeeper. He owns and operates Natural Environments Landscaping & Nursery in Lake Zurich, IL.
Pam & Robert will focus on local Lake County wildflowers, native trees & shrubs which support our many pollinators.

Tim Wilbanks of Heritage Honeybees will be the guest speaker. He will be speaking on the state of beekeeping in the USA. In addition, he will discuss the effects of Canada opening its borders for the importation of American package bees. Tim will also talk about Tropilaelaps, the parasitic mite that everyone should be concerned about.

Petra Ahnert will speak about her journey in beekeeping and how she got where she is today. She is the author of Beeswax Alchemy and Beehive Alchemy.
