Thursday January 4, 2024 - Tim Wilbanks of Heritage Honeybees will be the guest speaker. He will be speaking on the Package Bee Industry. He also will be speaking about the current state of affairs regarding Canada's opening of its borders for the importation of American package bees which Tim is heavily involved with.
Thursday February 1, 2024 - Our speaker will be Dave Meyer of Meyer Bees from Minooka, IL. He will be speaking about Feeding our Bees! It's still winter, but spring will be here before you know it! Let's get prepared not only for spring, but also know what we should feed our bees throughout the year!
Thursday March 7, 2024 - Our speaker this month is Slava Strogolov from Strong Microbials in Milwaukee, WI. He was great to listen to last year with lots of information.
Thursday April 4, 2024 - Our speaker this month is Sandra Washburn from Wild Ones Lake-to-Prairie Chapter. She will be speaking about planning and planting a pollinator garden. She will be giving us some great resources to use.
Thursday May 2, 2024 - Q & A - If you have questions, we have Answers!
Thursday June 6, 2024 - There will be a panel discussion on how members sell their honey chaired by Past President Frank Moriarty. It will be a fun topic to discuss and as always a lot of information.
Thursday July 11, 2024 - We will be having a member of the club, Ryan Piktel, speaking. He is a Senior Scientist at Abbott Laboratories and will be showing/talking about "Electron Microscope Views of Honey Bees".
Thursday August 1, 2024 - Annual LCBA Picnic

Thursday October 3, 2024 - Our speaker is Charlie Koenan from BeeVangelists out of Milwaukee, WI. He will be speaking about overwintering your hives.
Thursday November 7, 2024 - Our speaker is Slava Strogolov, CEO of Strong Microbials. The topic of the meeting is Overwintering Strategies for your bees.
The meeting is at State Bank of the Lakes, 50 Commerce Drive, Grayslake IL 60030. Informal questions and discussions at 6:30, Formal meeting at 7PM.
